The Sunshine State is a series of 344 color fields created to represent the 344 men and women on death row in the state of Florida (a state that holds the second largest death row population in the country).  The images in this series were created by taking state-provided materials and modifying them to remove all detail.  What remains are vibrant color fields created by Florida's bright orange death row prison uniform, the color of each death row inmates skin and the backdrop each was photographed against.
